Customer Portal: Give Clients a Professional Project View

Clients want to see their project details and review pricing on their own time without going through the contractor for every question. The Customer Portal delivers that experience — polished, professional, and no login required.

The portal is a shareable link generated from the project page. Send it to your client by email or text. They click the link and see everything they need: their drawings, the 3D model, and the proposal pricing — without creating an account or learning any software.

What clients see

  • Project status banner: Current state of the project at a glance
  • Plans Room viewer: Full access to all drawing pages — same grid view, filter chips, and page preview the estimator uses, but read-only
  • Interactive 3D model: The same drag-to-rotate wireframe built from their actual building specs
  • Proposal with pricing: The contractor's final price — not vendor quotes, just the number the client sees

Approval workflow

The client can approve the proposal or request changes directly from the portal. No email back and forth — the decision is recorded in the system and the project status updates immediately.

Link management

Create, expire, and revoke portal links from the project page. If a link gets shared with the wrong person, revoke it and generate a new one. Email templates are included for "Plans are ready for review" and "Pricing is ready."

What clients don't see

The portal shows only the contractor's final proposal price. Vendor quotes, internal cost breakdowns, and margin calculations stay private — the client only sees the number you intend them to see.
